BC Housing

We do not take applications on behalf of The Housing Registry. The Housing Registry is managed by BC Housing. Once you are on The Housing Registry, you can set preferences of locations with a number of affordable housing providers, including the Society of Hope, our division that manages this type of housing. For placement in one of our units dedicated to your income level you must have an application with The Housing Registry. Before applying you need to know the Housing Registry codes for each property you are interested in. Click here for a list of Society of Hope properties and their Registry codes.
Application processing time: 2 - 6 weeks Wait time for a housing placement is difficult to predict as it depends on turnover of units and the needs of households waiting.
