Rent Geared to Income Housing

Your total gross income is under $3200/month.

If you qualify for housing subsidies, we will direct you to the The Housing Registry site for application. We do not take applications on behalf of The Housing Registry. The Housing Registry is managed by BC Housing. Once you are on The Housing Registry, you can set preferences of locations with a number of affordable housing providers, including the Society of Hope, our brand that manages this type of housing. For placement in one of our units dedicated to your income level you must have an application with The Housing Registry. *Before applying you need to know the Housing Registry codes for each property you are interested in. Click here for a list of Society of Hope properties and their Registry codes.

Wait time for a housing placement is difficult to predict as it depends on turnover of units and the needs of households waiting.

Market Rental Housing

If your gross income is MORE than $3,200, you may qualify for Market Rental Housing.

If you qualify for our market rental opportunities different options become available either by a vacancy or brand-new units coming to market. We update the vacancy list once a week and units may be available for immediate occupancy. If you see something you like, you complete a short form expressing interest and a property manager contacts you in a couple of days.
