AFFORDABLE FAMILY TOWNHOUSE FOR RENT
Affordable family units are designated for families with dependent children and specifically for households whose income is too high to qualify for housing grants or subsidies but find the rising cost of housing a challenge.
We are currently seeking applicants that meet the three requirements listed – units are available now and in the next few months:
If you are a working family earning at least $3300 per month
Have children under the age of 19
Looking for housing in the Okanagan
We request that applicants answer a few qualifying questions to determine eligibility for our program, should you be eligible you’ll be contacted via email by one of our administrators.
Can I rent an affordable housing unit?
Are these non-smoking townhomes?
We aretransitioning all housing projects toward non-smoking buildings. Smoking and/or Vaping of tobacco and/or cannabis is not permitted in common areas of the building, in units, or on balconies.
Is parking included in rent?
Each town home has one designated parking stall.
Is there a common meeting room or community center
What about pets?
We do have a pet policy. A tenant may keep a bird or fish as a pet. Sorry no cats or dogs.
Community Gardens – Is there a place I can garden?
Sorry, No – not on site. However, many townhome sites are located near public Community Gardens. (Glenmore and Lake Country).
